Once found only in specialty restaurants, Balti is fast becoming as popular as tandoori or tikka masala. Originating in Northern India, baltis are stir-fried versions of traditional Indian foods, cooked quickly over high heat. Balti, meaning 'pot' or 'buc a Balti is a really tasty and tangy curry - traditionally prepared and served in a Balti dish (hence its name), and with Naan for dipping. Our tasty Balti Paste combines herbs & spices such as coriander, cumin, turmeric, chilli, pepper and garlic for a really authentic tasting dish. And by the way, it tastes just as great when you make it in a regular saucepan.
